    Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (ED&I)

    ED&I

We create positive change by promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion (ED&I) in every action – through raising awareness, encouraging open conversations, and helping clients develop programmes and pathways that drive inclusive employment.

•66% of our employees are female

•8.3/10 Peakon diversity and inclusion score

•50/50 gender parity in leadership by 2030

    Client ED&I services

Broader perspectives, experiences, and skillsets create better business results. We help clients build diverse workforces through progressive ED&I strategies, inclusive hiring practices, and open access to untapped talent pools.

    Colleague-led inclusion

Our people are pivotal to our ED&I programme. Four colleague-led Inclusion Forums – covering Disability and Mental Health, Ethnicity, Gender, and LGBTQ+ – bring our strategy to life day to day, from leading book clubs to implementing allyship networks.

They also ensure we actively support the Adecco Group’s five global ED&I pillars:

    Structural Inclusion
    Inclusive Leaders
    Conscious Inclusion
    Accountability
    Wellbeing

Targeted training for our sales teams, recruiters and managers. Our FastStart and Accelerate programmes guide you through your first weeks with mentoring, online courses and face-to-face support.

Ensuring diverse thinking is respected, managed, heard, and applied.

Driving an inclusive culture through our mindsets, behaviours, and decision-making.

Data-driven decision-making and measurement, embedding ED&I into organisational initiatives.

Placing value on wellbeing and providing services and support appropriate for the wellbeing needs of our colleagues.

    Weekly Inclusion Brunches

Every Wednesday, colleagues catch up online to explore key ED&I themes. Our Inclusion Brunches are safe spaces to learn, listen, and share lived experiences – touching on far-reaching topics, including hidden disabilities, baby loss, sexuality, neurodiversity, and more.

    ED&I events

Our packed ED&I calendar connects colleagues and sparks important conversations. From Pride, Eid, and Black History Month activities to Food for Thought sessions on burnout and stress awareness, we celebrate our differences and spotlight the issues that matter.

    Menopause in the workplace

Back in 2021, we were one of only 10% of employers with a Menopause Policy. Since then, we’ve trained over 100 clients to write their own policies, hosted industry webinars, and delivered menopause training for managers on client sites. We also proudly employ the UK government’s first Menopause Champion.

    Global partnerships

The Adecco Group’s global ED&I partnerships include Paradigm for Parity, the International Labour Organisation’s Global Business and Disability Network, the Valuable 500, the European Network Against Racism’sEqual@Work Platform, and the Tent Partnership for Refugees. The Adecco Group is also a signatory to the United Nations LGBTI Standards of Conduct.
