boost employability for people with under-realised working potential – including refugees, people with
disabilities, people with lived experiences of homelessness, and ex-offenders. Our social mobility
initiatives give talented individuals the tools to succeed, whatever their story.
Creating Brighter Futures
Our Creating Brighter Futures and FINDMYPURPOSE initiatives develops inclusive
talent pools, tackling the skills gap with career experiences for young people and individuals from
underserved backgrounds. We provide three dedicated pathways:
Think Bright – A pre-employability skills development school programme for
11 to 15-year-olds.
Plan Bright – A work experience and soft skills development school programme
for 16 to 18-year-olds.
Shine Bright – Apprenticeships, traineeships, and early careers programmes
for young people, tapping into employers who actively support emerging talent.
The Purpose Coalition
Adecco is a founding member of The Purpose Coalition, a group of purpose-led
organisations committed to championing the Social Mobility Pledge and closing the UK’s
opportunity gap. We’re proud to be among the top 150 UK and Ireland companies focused on purpose,
working with business decision-makers, government, and educators to create fairer routes to employment.
FINDMYPURPOSE
In partnership with The Purpose Coalition, we’re set to launch
FINDMYPURPOSE, an opportunity platform opening access to work for everyone. Using 14
Purpose Goals, we match candidates and companies that share a common purpose – from sustainable
communities to climate change. The site also sharpens career skills with 1:2:1 mentoring, training, and
resources from business leaders and Adecco’s recruitment experts.
Refugee mentoring in partnership with Tent
Refugee women face steep barriers entering the European workforce. In partnership with
Tent, our volunteer mentoring programme
provides skills, resources, and 1:1 coaching to help women navigate a shifting job market and advance
their careers.
